Maintenance tips to ensure longevity of your jetski motor

 Your jetski is an expensive high performance item and proper maintenance will ensure that it operates at optimum performance levels and maintains its value.

  • Make sure water drain plugs are in the back of the jetski
  • See that the oil is full. We recommend two stroke outboard TCW3
  • Ensure fuel tank is full
  • Turn fuel knob to on position, pull choke out, press green button to start, Once started push choke knob back in. Warm ski up before putting in water
  • When finished riding, put your jetski on the back of your trailer and remove drain plugs to drain any excess water
  • Start ski to remove water out of exhaust system
  • When running in salt water, it is imperative that you flush your motor with fresh water connect your flush fitting and make sure you start the ski prior to turning water on. Let ski idle for about five minutes to flush system properly
  • Remove hosepipe and flush fitting before switching motor off
  • Rev motor for about 30 seconds before pressing the red button
  • Spray water over the engine with low pressure to remove any salt
  • Leave the seat off to allow engine to dry

Spray “ensis” or any water displacement spray on motor to avoid rust forming
